My friend's Gabby rescued cat, the sweetest thing ever. Me and Justin are thinking of adopting a dog at some point, a really big responsibility, but even a  larger reward.

It's time to decorate the house for Christmas! This cardinal bird ornaments are by Paper Source, I went there yesterday to find a nice piece of wrapping paper and oh, boy, they have it! Outstanding quality and beautiful patterns.

I love this image, as it really brings out that Christmas spirit and it features my favorite china set, Royal Albert Country Roses. One day, when I host Christmas at my house, it'll be as magical as this photo.

If Alice in Wonderland wore jewelry, this would be it! I've never seen jewelry inspired by all girls favorite things - sweets, tea time and everything adorable. This Italian jewelry brand Le Chou Chou Bijoux combines it all and it's definitely my cup of tea!

no lights during the hurricane

 That's how me and Justin were spending our time without electricity the other day. Yes, the hurricane Sandy had us stay in the apartment for a few days, luckily we have saved enough food and liquor to keep us indoors. I can honestly say I have washed dishes almost twenty times for the past three days,so I'm not looking forward to stepping on a scale any time soon after this forced hibernation.

I've been waiting to leave the city to watch the fall foliage for a while now, so Sleepy Hollow turned out to be a great choice! We got off at Tarrytown train station on Metro-North and took a cab to the Stone Barns Farms which was about 15 minutes away.

We found Blue Hill cafe and a restaurant on site, as well as a farmers market and a small shop with beautiful recipe books and kitchen towels. The map at the information desk shows the locations of various animals on the farm.
